So You Think You Can Dance Will Now Feature Child Competitors

Fox's So You Think You Can Danceis revamping itself for Season 13 and will feature a younger crop of dancers, ranging in age from 8 to 13, the network announced Monday.

The kids for So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation will be selected from auditions in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, and the Top 10 will be paired up with dancing All-Stars for the competition.

Cat Deeley will return as host and judges Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo will also be back.

"By evolving the So You Think You Can Dance format this season, we can showcase the very best junior dancers out there and open up the world of dance to a whole new generation," Lythgoe said in a statement.
