Snookie Released from Jail

Looks like Snooks didn't have to spend the night in jail.

Shortly after the arrest of Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi on Friday, the reality star was released from custody, according to Seaside Heights Police.

The MTV reality star, 22, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct in Seaside Heights, N.J., where the third season of Shore is being filmed.

"Nicole Polizzi was acting in a disorderly matter while on the beach," police said in a statement provided to TVGuide.com. "Miss Polizzi was escorted from the beach by patrolmen ... and [she was] placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. ... She was transported to police headquarters and later released on a summons."

Co-star JWOWW tweeted Friday afternoon: "Going to bail @Sn00ki out of jail... The things I do for this girl I swear."
