Snooki and JWOWW Keep Partying in Season 2 of Their MTV Adventure

Audiences fist-pumped farewell to Jersey Shore at the end of 2012, but MTV is greeting 2013 the guidette way on Tuesday with the Season 2 premiere of Snooki & JWOWW (10/9c). With a new baby and an engagement, respectively, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley have grown up since leaving the Shore. But the ladies ensure us that motherhood and a fiancé haven't completely altered their antics — and the cameras are there to prove it.

Audiences fist-pumped farewell to Jersey Shore at the end of 2012, but MTV is greeting 2013 the guidette way on Tuesday with the Season 2 premiere of Snooki & JWOWW (10/9c). TV Guide Magazine: Now that Jersey Shore is over, what will be different in this season?
Snooki: On Jersey Shore, you just see us partying, but you don't really get to know us as friends. In our spinoff, you get to see our real friendship and how we are day-to-day. We're truly best friends so I love the fact that our real relationship is being shown.

JWoww: We've always wanted a show together and we knew it was kind of meant to be. Our [Jersey Shore] cast appreciates it, loves it and comes on and visits us as much as they can.

TV Guide Magazine: How often can we expect to see the Jersey Shore crew?
JWoww: They're in it a lot actually. They want to visit Lorenzo [Snooki's son], they want to go out with us, they want to celebrate.

Snooki: They're our best friends and our show is a part of our life so you're going to see them show up.

TV Guide Magazine: Even though they will be making cameo appearences, what will you miss most about Jersey Shore?
Snooki: Just living with my roommates and going there every summer. It's going to feel weird not living with them.

JWoww: It's really bittersweet at this point. We want to concentrate on helping as much as we can on rebuilding Seaside so in the future, we can take our families and kids there and make them have the same experience that we had.

TV Guide Magazine: How are you helping to rebuild Seaside after Hurricane Sandy?
Snooki: Well, I personally donated and sent like half of my wardrobe. We're going to go down this summer, help out and do as much as we can because it is our second home. It does mean a lot to us that we help rebuild it.

JWoww: We're trying to rebuild as fast as we can so Lorenzo has many memories.

TV Guide Magazine: Speaking of Lorenzo, how much of him will we see?
Snooki: The season starts off with me eight months pregnant and then you see me taking classes, going to the doctors and getting check-ups, and then my water breaking, Lorenzo being born and the first month of Lorenzo's life.

TV Guide Magazine: And how about your engagement, Jenni?
JWoww: We were skydiving. He jumped before I did and when I landed, he was down on one knee with a huge sign and thousands of rose petals, and he asked me the second I landed.

TV Guide Magazine: Will we be seeing any weddings this season?
JWOWW: No. It was the first couple of weeks so we were just in the moment and enjoying the engagement, and still are.

Snooki: I definitely cannot wait to get married, but I want it to be the right time when our house is ready and we're ready in general with everything. It's going to be soon, but I don't know when.

TV Guide Magazine: So now that there's a baby and a fiancé in the picture, will your partying slow down?
Snooki: Jenni goes out a lot, but I'm parenting and just trying to learn my new life. But we did have one crazy night and I had a blast. Just picture somebody not drinking for 10 months, and then they go out with their girls.

JWoww: I actually have no idea what goes on because I can't remember that night so I'm also very excited to see it because there's nothing better than having a camera follow you on the nights you don't remember.

TV Guide Magazine: Now that you're engaged and a mom, does partying cause any trouble?
Snooki: Me and Jionni are new parents and we just want to do what's best for our family. We're going to have a few bumps in the road and that's what you're going to see on the show.

TV Guide Magazine: And I heard a rumor that Jenni gave you an interesting baby shower gift — strips that detect alcohol in breast milk.
JWoww: Hell ya! That night that we went out, they came in very handy.
