Saturday night marked Bill Hader and Fred Armisen's last episode of SNL, but was it also the swan song for vet Jason Sudeikis?

Despite speculation for the last several days that he would not be coming back in the fall, Sudeikis did not confirm or deny the report on the season finale. However, his cast mate Jay Pharoah posted a tweet Sunday that seemed to make it official. "Hader, Armisen & Sudekis the talent of those three and just them as people in general will be missed but we will be strong and carry on..," he wrote.

However, Pharoah quickly deleted his tweet. So is Sudeikis really leaving? Sudeikis was first rumored to be flying the Stage 8H coop last spring. "I've left places before," he told Men's Journal in July. "This is very, very different. Goodbyes are tough." However, he soon decided to return for his 10th year. Sudeikis is known for characters such as the running dude from "What Up W/ Dat?", Marshall T. Boudreaux aka the host of the courtroom reality show, Maine Justice and The Devil.

SNL is also bracing for the departure of another cast member — head writer and "Weekend Update" anchor Seth Meyers — who will leave some time during next season to begin his new gig as host of Late Night.
