Chris Hemsworth, a.k.a. Thor, hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend, but it was the regular cast members who really stole the show.

The best SNL cast members of all time, ranked

Kate McKinnon continued to be this season's MVP, with a cold open that addressed Hillary Clinton's email scandal as well as the brilliant sketch "The Iggy Azalea Show." The episode also featured a hilarious promo about making Fox's breakout hit Empire more appealing to white viewers (enter Hemsworth as new office assistant "Chip").

Check out those sketches and other highlights below:

Hillary Clinton cold open: This cold open gives us a taste of just how brilliant SNL could be during the 2016 presidential campaign. Clinton (McKinnon) attempts to silence her critics by giving us all a look at some of her personal emails.

Chris Hemsworth monologue: It's a family affair for Hemsworth's (somewhat stiff) opening monologue, which features cameos from his brothers Luke and Liam, as well as the seldom-seen fourth Hemsworth brother, Callum (Kenan Thompson), and their mother (McKinnon).

Empire promo: Fox's Empire wanted to introduce a character for white fans to relate to. Meet the new office assistant, Chip (Hemsworth) - plus see Sasheer Zamata do her best impression of Cookie.

The Iggy Azalea Show: McKinnon stars as polarizing Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea, whose talk show guests include her rival Azealia Banks (Zamata) and her cousin Rafty (Hemsworth).

Leslie Jones on dating in New York: Relationship expert Leslie Jones stops by the "Weekend Update" desk to explain how difficult it is to date in New York City - especially during winter.

Avengers news report: Hemsworth poked fun at his famous alter ego in this sketch, in which Thor and the rest of the Avengers, including Iron Man (Taran Killam) and Captain America (Beck Bennett), celebrate on live TV after defeating Ultron.
