Shaq Is Getting His Own Reality Series Because Not Everything Is Bad

Who doesn't want to watch 10 episodes of Shaq being a DJ?

Did you know Shaquille O'Neal is now a DJ? What about the fact that he runs a restaurant called Big Chicken? Or the fact that he "answers to many names" -- including Big Aristotle, Shaq Diesel, The Big Shamrock, The Big Baryshnikov, Superman, Shaq Fu, and Wilt Chamberneezy -- all of which are reflective "of his fun-loving personality"? I didn't know any of these things before reading an incredible TNT press release, which announced the even more incredible news that Shaq is also getting his own reality series.

Shaq Life will take viewers inside the NBA icon's summer break as he sets off on an international DJ tour and does a series of DJ gigs in Las Vegas (Idris Elba, watch out!). The series will also follow the NBA legend as he films commercials and a movie, runs his restaurant, hosts the NBA Awards, and hangs out with his five kids. I don't know about you, but this all sounds great to me. No wonder TNT had to push off the Snowpiercer adaptation to TBS. They needed to make room for THIS!

Shaq Life doesn't yet have a premiere date, but this show can't come soon enough.
