Katherine McNamara has officially booked her first post-Shadowhunters gig, and OMG, it's like the TV gods cooked this one up especially for us!

TVLine reports that McNamara will recur on Arrow this season as a new character named Maya, "a scrappy street fighter and thief from Star City." Putting those fighting chops she learned on Shadowhunters to good use we see! Maya was apparently even likened to Buffy (yes, the vampire slayer) in her initial character description, so just go ahead and let that sink in.

So far, there's no telling whether Maya will find herself on the right or wrong side of Oliver (Stephen Amell) and the rest of Team Arrow, but street fighters and thieves don't typically chum it up with vigilantes, you know? Unless they're Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) of course!

And since we're already wildly speculating here, we'll also just toss in a reminder that Roy will likely be newly single and ready to mingle when he returns in Season 7, since there doesn't appear to be any sign of Thea's (Willa Holland) return to Star City with him. We wouldn't be mad at a possible spark between Roy and this new Maya girl, just saying!
