Who Wants to Be a Superhero?, having averaged 1.5 million viewers and credited with bringing 2.9 million newcomers to the Sci Fi Channel, has received an order for an expanded, 10-episode second season.

The Thursday Playlist: Suits, FX Goes Legit, a Nerds War and Oprah Rides LanceWinning the battle was only half the story — or, in this case, the season. USA Network's Suits returns Thursday (10/9c) to finish out a second year, its momentum from the crackling first half of the season somewhat stalled by the four-month break. Nothing in the first two new episodes quite matches the tension of the summer run, which was dominated by a suspenseful in-house battle for control of the Pearson Hardman (now minus Hardman) law firm.
Stan Lee Takes on Paris Hilton and Wannabe SuperheroesYou're the man, Stan! As master of the Marvel Comics universe, Stan Lee cocreated Spider-Man, the Hulk, Fantastic Four and X-Men. But that's not enough for the 84-year-old wunderkind. He's just signed a mega-deal with Disney. He's developing a Paris Hilton cartoon series for MTV. Hasbro is about to issue a Stan Lee action figure (complete with his trademark specs, khakis and windbreaker). Who Wants to Be an Action Figure?Just a month before the second season of Sci Fi's campy reality competition Who Wants to Be a Superhero? flies back onto TV screens, Shocker Toys has announced that it will produce a line of figures based on selected contestants' characters. Season 1 champion Feedback and runners-up Fat Momma and Major Victory will be included in the set, as will the plucky crimefighter who wins this year's edition.
