Buffy queen Sarah Michelle Gellar has rejoined forces with Ringer creators Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder for a dramedy that's currently in development at Fox, Deadline reports. Titled Other People's Houses, the series, based on the book by Abbi Waxman, is described as a suburban dramedy in the vein of Big Little Lies or Catastrophe. Gellar is set to star and executive produce.

Gellar plays Anne Porter, one of two main moms who live in the middle of a bucolic block in the posh Larchmont Village area of Los Angeles. Told through the lens of social media, Other People's Houses tracks nine people in on the block navigating their partners, parents, friends, kids, and neighbors. Neil Meron (Chicago, Hairspray) is shepherding the project.

Gellar previously starred in Charmelo and Snyder's drama Ringer, which just lasted a season on The CW from 2011-2012 but become a cult fave. No word yet where the Fox-produced series might land if it goes to series.
