Sarah Michelle Gellar is getting back into character for NBC's Cruel Intentions pilot, and that means it's back to dark hair. The actress showed that blondes don't always have more fun when she revealed her new darker hair color on Instagram.
"#brownhairdontcare (actually kind of love it!!) thank you everyone @andylecomptesalon," she said. If that wasn't enough to make the die-hard Cruel Intentions fans out there to flip out, Gellar also posted a photo of the pilot script. "How I am spending the 17 anniversary of the release of #cruelintentions #crueltv," she said.
Gellar announced last month month that she'll reprise her role of Kathryn Merteuil for the NBC pilot, which based on the 1999 film she headlined with Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon. On the potential series, Kathryn is up to her old tricks again, as she vies for control of Valmont International and Bash Casey (Taylor John Smith), the son of her late brother Sebastian and Annette Hargrove.
