Feast Your Eyes on This Glorious Santa Clarita Diet Season 2 Trailer

In our first look at Season 2 of Santa Clarita Diet, the Hammonds finally have things under control. Well, they did for a brief moment until their situation took a turn for the worst. Hey, it's hard to live a normal life as a suburban couple when one of you is the walking undead with a very specific diet.

Yes, Sheila (Drew Barrymore) and Joel (Timothy Olyphant) have even bigger problems to tackle when the comedic Netflix series returns for its sophomore run on Friday, March 23. In a preview of the new season -- which wins the award for Best Use of a Hootie and the Blowfish Song -- the murderous couple faces the exposure of their secret when the bodies of their victims start turning up and Sheila grows more and more aggressive with each kill. Even worse, she invited another sheriff into their lives, making it all the more difficult to keep their secret under wraps. At least they have each other, right?

In addition to hiding Sheila's zombie condition, which often finds them in bizarrely comedic scenarios, the Hammonds will also work to figure out what caused her to become one in the first place so that, hopefully, others won't have to go through what they have so far.

Along with the blood, guts and funny hijinks, the new season will also feature celebrity cameos from the likes of Joel McHale, Andy Richter, Maggie Lawson and more.

Season 2 of Santa Clarita Diet heads to Netflix on Friday, March 23.
