Samantha and Manic Moms Bump Betty; Better Off Ted to Air Wednesdays

Recently and repeatedly bumped by bloated editions of The Bachelor, the amnesiac Samantha Who? will say farewell to her familiar Monday confines and pair with In the Motherhood to form a new Thursday comedy block for ABC. Recently and repeatedly bumped by bloated editions of The Bachelor, the amnesiac Samantha Who? will say farewell to her familiar Monday confines and pair with In the Motherhood to form a new Thursday comedy block for ABC.

Starting March 26, Samantha will air Thursdays at 8, where it will lead into In the Motherhood, a new comedy starring Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) and Jessica St. Clair. Ugly Betty will reclaim that Thursday time slot and resume its season once Sam and the moms have exhausted their runs.

ABC has also set a premiere date for Better Off Ted: Wednesday, March 18. Fronted by Jay Harrington (Wyatt on Private Practice) and Portia De Rossi and concerning the R&D department of a morally questionable conglomerate, that new comedy will lead out of Scrubs.
