Samantha Harris Undergoes Double Mastectomy

Samantha Harris successfully underwent a double mastectomy on Tuesday, the former Dancing with the Stars  co-host announced on Twitter. 

"Made it [through] grueling double mastectomy #surgery," she tweeted. "Thanks to all of my amazing surgical team."

Harris detected a lump in her right breast during a self-examination last fall. She then went to a breast cancer specialist a few months later and was diagnosed with breast cancer. After co-hosting DWTS for eight seasons, Harris most recently worked as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.
