Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is diving headfirst into the reality TV world. After playing himself on 90210 and 30 Rock last year, Lochte will star in his own reality series premiering this April on E!, the cable channel announced Monday at the winter TV previews.
"Ryan Lochte captured everyone's attention at the Summer Olympics with his athletic prowess and his utterly unique and unaffected approach to life," E! Entertainment President Suzanne Kolb said in a statement. "He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun. Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: they want to be him, sleep with him or mother him."
The six-episode first season of What Would Ryan Lochte Do? will follow the two-time gold medalist as he balances his career — specifically his media appearances and rigorous training schedule as he prepares for the 2016 Rio summer games — with his personal life, such as his hard-partying ways and his lively family. Lochte's family, including his two older sisters, his younger brother/best friend and his mom/life coach will also be featured on the reality series.
The series will also follow the 28-year-old's search for love, natch.
