TV Guide Magazine: Drag U seems like Queer Eye for the Straight Gal with some Project Runway and Oprah thrown in.
RuPaul: It's all of those things! We want to ignite a superhero in each of these women.

TV Guide Magazine: How did the idea of having drag queens teach their sass and sexiness to women come about?
RuPaul: It was born from the letters we got from women wanting to know how these men turn themselves into glamourpusses.
TV Guide Magazine: What's the main thing these ladies are missing, besides big wigs?
RuPaul: Confidence. We tear away the layers that block the spirit from shining. Then we decorate that spirit and parade it around. We really weren't prepared for the emotions it would bring.
