A familiar face is headed to Roswell, New Mexicoin Season 2! TV Guide has learned exclusively that David Anders will guest-star in the show's upcoming season as Travis, a bespoke bootmaker, banjo player, and bovine enthusiast who offers Alex (Tyler Blackburn) and Maria (Heather Hemmens) some help when their car breaks down miles from civilization.

"We wrote this character with David Anders in mind, and we were so excited that he agreed to join the list of The Vampire Diaries family members making a pit stop in Roswell, New Mexico," said showrunner Carina Mackenzie in a statement. "Anders and I were particularly excited to join forces on this particular episode, which takes a fun turn from sci-fi to horror as an homage to our mutual friend and hero Kevin Williamson."
