Rosie O'Donnell is heading back to New York.

O'Donnell's OWN talk show, The Rosie Show, is moving from Chicago to New York City, according to HuffingtonPost.com. An insider tells the site that O'Donnell believes it was a mistake taking over Oprah Winfrey's former studio rather than basing the show in O'Donnell's hometown. The insider also said it became increasingly difficult to get guests to fly to Chicago.

Last week, O'Donnell listed her $2.5 million Lakeview, Chicago home for sale, which caused some to speculate that she would be ending her show, which debuted in October to an average of 497,000 viewers (a number that fell to an average 204,000 viewers last month.) A spokeswoman for the host told The Chicago Tribunethat O'Donnell had bought the house "impulsively" considering that her children only visit on the weekends.

O'Donnell's original daytime talk show was based out of Rockefeller Center studios in New York City.
