And we've got your first look!
Chuck has returned!
That's right, Grey's Anatomy star James Pickens Jr. is headed back to Roseanne as Dan's (John Goodman) longtime poker buddy, and TV Guide has your first look. In an exclusive promo, he makes his long-awaited appearance after more than 20 years. Unfortunately, there's no poker game in sight but it's always great to see a familiar face.
The trailer also teased the arrival of even more Roseanne alumni this season including Sandra Bernhard as Nancy and Natalie West as Chrystal. Johnny Galecki recently reprised his role as David who returned to Langford after a long period away to be a better father to his kids.
Back To The Future alum Christopher Lloyd will also make an appearance as Lou, Bev's (Estelle Parsons) new boyfriend, and it doesn't look like he makes a great first impression. "I would have mistaken them for your sisters," he says in the video after Bev introduces Roseanne (Roseanne Barr) and Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) as her daughters. But Jackie doesn't take that as a compliment.
"Uncalled for, Lou," she fires back.
Watch the comedy unfold when Roseanne returns with all new episodes starting Tuesday, May 1 at 8/7c on ABC. Plus, the network will marathon rerun episodes of the revival on Tuesday, April 24 from 8-10 p.m. ET.
