A man suspected in connection with the slaying of Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen shot himself to death Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Times.
When Beverly Hills, Calif., police attempted to serve a search warrant at a Hollywood hotel, the suspect fatally shot himself. The name of the man was not released and his exact connection to the case wasn't immediately divulged, but two sources told the Times that police believe he was involved in Chasen's death.
The noted publicist died last month after being shot several times and crashing her Mercedes-Benz into a light pole in Beverly Hills. Chasen, who owned the public relations firm Chasen & Co., had earlier attended a premiere of Burlesque.
Calls to the Beverly Hills Police Department were not immediately returned.
