Robin Williams' Death Is Officially Ruled a Suicide

Robin Williams' death has been officially ruled a suicide by the Marin County coroner, CNNreports. Alcohol and illegal drugs were not a factor, according to the report.

Williams was found dead in his Tiburon, California home on August 11 from a suspected suicide by hanging. He was 63 years old at the time.

Depression, anxiety and the early stages of Parkinson's disease were thought to be factors in Williams' decision to take his own life, his widow, Susan Schneider, said in August.
