Rob Lowe has appeared on Lifetime playing a murderer (Drew Peterson: Untouchable) and as a Florida prosecutor taking on an accused murderer (Prosecuting Casey Anthony). But next up, he's the one getting killed.
Lowe has signed on to star in the Lifetime movie Beautiful and Twisted, playing Ben Novack Jr., the millionaire heir to the Fountainebleau Miami Beach hotel fortune. Based on the real story, the film will focus on Miami police as they investigate Novack's death, uncovering the secrets behind his marriage to former stripper Narcy (Paz Vega). Narcy is the chief suspect in the murder, considered one of the city's most notorious crimes.
Candice Bergen is also set to star as Novack's mother, Bernice. Starts shooting this month to likely air later this year.Judith Verno and Lowe are executive producers on the movie, which will be written by Teena Booth, Inon Shampanier, Natalie Shampanier and Stephen Kay. Sony Pictures Television is the studio.
