Rizzoli & Isles to End With Season 7
"It felt like it was time"
Rizzoli and Isles will end after its upcoming Season 7.
TNT President Kevin Reilly confirmed the news at the Television Critics Association winter previews on Thursday. The decision to end the series comes as TNT is in the midst of an "edgier" rebranding. Stars Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander and producers all agreed that Season 7 would be a good time to end the series.
Season 6 will be the final season of Girls
"Everyone said, 'Let's all go out and finish 13 great ones and call it a day,'" Reilly said. "Everyone felt good about that."
The final 13 episodes will premiere this summer.
