Miles is crippled, Aaron might be crazy, and Neville is ... well, being Neville, but at least for a good cause this time. So how will Miles survive? Is Neville supposed to be a hero now? Read on for the 10 biggest burning questions from Wednesday's episode of Revolution.

1.What brought Aaron back? He lives! And so does his sense of humor, thankfully. But that doesn't mean Aaron's (Zak Orth) anything close to alright. It's hard to watch the usually whimsical scientist get so overcome with fear trying  to reason out how — and why — he's alive. As of now, he's assuming his resurrection was thanks to the nanites, but were they programed to keep him alive? And if so, why? Or worse yet, was it a malfunction? If the nanites have gone rogue, Aaron's revival is only the beginning of a much larger problem.

2. Is this Charlie's new love interest? Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) manages to find Monroe (David Lyons) where he is being held captive in an empty pool. (How she managed to keep up with and track a horse and trailer on foot, we'll never know.) After knocking out Mysterious Eye Patch Guy and taking his gun, Charlie once again sets up to kill Monroe. Only instead of shooting him, she gets shot by Mysterious Hot Guy (just with rock salt, but still. Ow!).

When she wakes up, now held captive alongside Monroe, MHG seductively patches up her wound. During this interrogation-turned-flirtation, MHG reveals he and Eye Patch Guy are bounty hunters for the U.S. Government, who are insisting on receiving Monroe alive. Charlie proves once again that she's finally become a voice of reason when she instructs MHG to turn him in dead or else Monroe will escape and kill them. (Preach!) Even though this entire situation is filled with shooting, bindings and death threats, I definitely feel some chemistry between them that's making me say, "Jason, who?"

3. What's Miles without his sword hand? Miles (Billy Burke) and Mason are being held in cages until one of the Andover lackeys comes and administers blood tests to each of them. Seeing something he apparently didn't like, the lackey shoots Mason right in the face. It was strange to see Miles so powerless to help his new friend, but unfortunately it seems like that will be a big theme going forward.

Miles manages to pick his way out of his cage and then moves on to rescue Sarah, another captive. Lackeys walk in, and Miles manages to get some good axe whacks in before being forced to surrender. He's then brought in front of Titus (who in addition to being a violent warlord is also terribly misogynistic). Titus explains to Miles that he used to be a headmaster at a boys school who, just before the blackout, was going to be arrested for what sounds like child pornography. He took the blackout as a sign that God wants his people to be free and many of his former children (and possible victims of sexual assault?) agreed and became his devoted followers. Thoroughly creeped out by him, but still sassy as ever, Miles remains nonchalant about the whole ordeal until Titus reveals he has no plans on killing the swordsman. Instead, he pulverizes his right hand with a hammer. How is he going to escape now?

4. Are we supposed to root for Neville? Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) has Jason (JD Pardo) introduce him to a former rebel and tells him that the Patriots are the people behind the nuking. He then enlists his help to assassinate Allenford as step one in his search for justice. Everything seems to be going according to plan until Neville turns on the rebel last minute, shooting him in faux protection of the Secretary. Going under the alias Mr. Crane, Neville explains to Allenford that she has a problem with her security and he would love to rectify this. To seal the deal, Neville even admits his past in "Monroe security" as a way to confess his deep-rooted desire to join Team U.S.A. again. "I did what I had to do to survive. We all did. But I was born an American and I would very much like to be one again." Unfortunately for Allenford, she bought it.

There's no way this is going to end well for the Patriots. The question is: Are we now supposed to root for Neville when he does all his evil, deadly schemes because it's "for the greater good"? And does Jason understand the larger plan in place or just think his father is a social climbing traitor?

5. Has Aaron gone crazy? Aaron's sitting around stewing over his fate when he finds a dead rat and then something much weirder — Ben! Seemingly bleeding to death on the floor, Ben manages to force out, "It's you. It's you, Aaron," before dying (again). But when Cynthia finds him, Aaron realizes the whole thing had been in his head. Aaron obviously starts to worry that he's now going crazy or that the nanites messed with his head when they brought him back, but good ol' Cynthia tells him to relax and that his rebirth was a miracle (which is the last thing a man of science ever wants to hear).

6. What's Monroe's next move? Now both stuck at the bottom of the pool, Monroe and Charlie make some awkward small talk. And understandably, so. Monroe is responsible for the death of her father and brother along with the faked death of her mother. MHG thankfully interrupts and lets Charlie go, saying, "I don't like killing. Not unless I have to." If you ask me, that's a really bad motto when you're dealing with the most wanted man in the continent. Great that he let Charlie go, but MHG really should evaluate who applies to his pro-life rules. Especially after what comes next.

While stuck in the back of the trailer, Monroe uses a broken piece of tile to cut his ties and escape into the woods. Eyepatch Guy catches up to him first only to get beaten to death. MHG arrives and gets a few good swings in before Monroe prepares to send him to Heaven, too. Last to the party is Charlie, who is able to save MHG's life before getting her ass kicked. Monroe then runs back to the now unmanned horse and trailer and gallops off into the distance. But when you have the entire country looking for you, where do you go?

7. Are the Patriots the Illuminati? Titus' main lackey writes some a letter in some bizarre language and seals it with The All-Seeing Eye. Later, we see Justine Allenford with a letter with the same seal, so it's clear there's some ties between the two groups. Is it that they're the Illuminati? If so, where's Beyonce and Jay Z?

8. Where's Grace? Through flashbacks, we see that after the bombs went off the people inside The Tower were somehow transported topside, waking up approximately twelve hours later. Included in those survivors: Grace (Maria Howell). So where the hell is she?

9. What's killing the rats? After all of Rachel's (Elizabeth Mitchell) attempts to rally a rescue team for Miles go nowhere (and for good reason. No one wants to end up like Mason, riding a horse Bernie Lomax style),  Gene finally comes through for her daughter. As the crew sets out they hit what might be the most disturbing roadblock of all time — hundreds of dead rats. It's like Willard's nightmare and definitely tied to whatever's happening with Aaron and the fireflies. But what is it?

10. Are the Andovers vampires? I know it's a silly question, but really though -- what's with all the blood?! After being warned that his hand won't hurt for much longer, Miles is dragged behind the ominous red door from which people never return. Inside, people lie practically lifeless and ghostly pale while the Andovers drain their blood. The only theory I have is vampires and that cannot be right so please share your theories in the comments.
