Supernatural star Jared Padalecki was reportedly arrested on multiple charges this weekend. TMZ reports that the actor was detained on Sunday morning outside an Austin, Texas, lounge called Stereotype. According to the Austin American-Statesman, Stereotype's general manager reported to police that Padalecki owns the bar.
In a video posted to TMZ, the actor can be seen getting physically aggressive with someone in the parking lot of the establishment, and in later footage, he is shown being questioned by authorities. The site also claims that eye witness accounts revealed that the person Padalecki was seen wrestling with was an acquaintance who tried to calm him down after Padalecki struck a bartender inside of the lounge. Witnesses also alleged that Padalecki struck Stereotype's general manager as well and that during his brush with the police, he brought out a stack of money before his arrest.
The Statesman reports that Padalecki's arrest took place at 2:08 a.m. on Sunday and that he struck the assistant manager as well as the general manager.
The actor has reportedly been charged with two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication as a result of the incident. His bond was reportedly set at $15,000, or $5,000 per charge.
Padalecki is best known for his work as Sam Winchester on the hit CW series, which is currently airing its 15th and final season, but he also gained popularity for his turn as Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls.
Padalecki was not in the Travis County Jail on Monday, according to online records.
Padalecki's representatives did not immediately respond to TV Guide's requests for comment. This story is being updated as details become available.
