The Real Housewives of OC's Tamra: Gretchen and I Were Friends Until the Reunion

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney says this season's reunion show severed her on-again, off-again friendship with former bestie Gretchen Rossi. "We were friends until we shot the reunion show," Barney told TVGuide.com. "It stirred up a lot. They talked about the past and Andy [Cohen] went deep, so it brought back a bunch of nonsense that didn't need to be brought up."

When Rossi joined the series in Season 4, she and Barney immediately butted heads. But in Season 7, as Barney and Vicki Gunvalson were on the outs, Barney and Rossi started to get closer. When photos were released last month of Barney's wedding to Eddie Judge, which will air on Bravo in September, many fans were surprised that Rossi was nowhere to be found.

"She was not in the wedding," Barney said. "We were in an awkward place in our friendship. She had recently proposed to Slade and got engaged and she didn't invite anyone to that party. All of us at the time didn't know where we stood with her and she put it out there that she wasn't friends with any of us and I just didn't feel like I wanted someone in my wedding who didn't want to be friends."

However, Gunvalson, whose relationship with Tamra has seen its extreme ups and downs, was somewhat surprisingly in the wedding party. "Vicki and I are good; we'll always be good," she said. "We have our ups and downs and the previous problem was when [Gunvalson's boyfriend] Brooks came into our life. I just wanted what was best for her, and she didn't want to hear it. I didn't mean any harm to her."

While Barney says she's trying to enjoy married life drama-free, she admits viewers will be treated to a lot of it in her three-part wedding special.

"We have a coed bachelor/bachelorette party and let's just say there's drama," Barney said, before Judge added, "What should've stayed in Vegas is not going to stay in Vegas." Said Barney: "No guy wants camera looking in on their bachelor party at a strip club."

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo. Watch a sneak peek of the three-part reunion special:
