Several Friday night shows saw a slight uptick this week, with Ugly Betty pulling in its largest audience all season.

Ugly Betty moving to Wednesdays

On its final Friday night showing — the ABC series moves to Wednesdays starting Jan. 6 — Betty brought in 4.8 million viewers. Dollhouse also grabbed a healthy audience: 2.7 million viewers tuned in for the first hour, a 25 percent improvement from last week. However, the second hour only saw 2.1 million.

On NBC, The Jay Leno Show also saw a small victory, pulling in 5.8 million viewers. With CBS airing repeats, NBC's numbers were up across the board. Law & Order won the 8/7c timeslot with 8.8 million viewers, placing second overall for the night to Dateline NBC (9.3 million viewers). ABC's 20/20 won the 10/9c timeslot with 7.3 million viewers.

Steven Seagal Lawman, which set an A&E series premiere record last week, only managed to bring in 2 million in its second outing Wednesday, a dip of 43 percent. However, news wasn't all bad for cable shows: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia drew in 1.8 million viewers, its best ratings ever, for its Season 5 finale Thursday.
