Ratings: Good Morning America Ties Today in Ann Curry's Final Week

Ann Curry's exit last Thursday may have been emotional, but it didn't help boost the ratings during her final week on Today.

In fact, ratings rival Good Morning America on ABCcame in as the most-watched morning newscast last Friday, beating out the debut of Curry's replacement Savannah Guthrie on Today on NBCin total viewers with 4.85 million vs. 4.19 million viewers. During Curry's final week, ABC also tied NBC in total viewers.

Good Morning America had unseated Today as No. 1 in the morning ratings for several weeks during the spring, which, some reports stated, was part of the reason Curry was pushed out as co-anchor.
