The Sing-Off remains a full-throated ratings act, a back-up performer only to CBS formidable comedy lineup.
The Sing-Off remains a full-throated ratings act, a back-up performer only to CBS formidable comedy lineup.
NBC's two-hour Sing-Off averaged 9.6 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in the 18-to-49 demographic during its first hour (against How I Met Your Mother's 10.1 million, 3.7, and Rules of Engagement's 10.1 million, 3.3), and 9.1 million (3.4) in its second (against Two and a Half Men's 14.4 million and 4.4, and Mike & Molly's 12.5 million and 3.7). That's up18 percent versus last week's premiere.
Meantime, Skating With the Stars slogged along, pulling 3.8 million (0.8), same as a week ago.
A House repeat attracted an audience of 7.4 million (2.4) at 8, while a rerun of the CW's The Vampire Diaries got 1.4 million (0.5)
Mariah Carey's Christmas special on ABC drew 4.9 million people (1.1) at 9, but couldn't top a rerun of Fox's Lie to Me (6 million, 1.9).
At 10, Hawaii Five-0 more than doubled the audience of Castle and Chase reruns, reeling in 11.1 million viewers (2.9).
A caveat: Fox's numbers are skewed because the network ran the NFL game between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings — which had been postponed due to the Metrodome roof collapse — in the teams' respective home towns.
