The Simpsons topped Sunday with a huge boost from football.
Coming off the final wild card game between the 49ers and Packers, The Simpsons drew 12 million viewers and a 5.2 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, surging 49 percent from its last new episode. Bob's Burgers (6.4 million, 3.2) followed with a 33 percent improvement, but Family Guy (5.8 million, 3.0) and American Dad! (5 million, 2.5) were flat and just up a tenth, respectively.
Winter TV: Must-see new shows
ABC's The Bachelor: Countdown to Juan Pablo grabbed 6.3 million and a 1.8, on par with Once Upon a Time's numbers. Revenge (6.7 million, 1.8) was up 20 percent and Betrayal (3.4 million, 0.8) was even.
NBC's Best of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Primetime Special delivered 5.7 million and a 2.0, posting the network's best non-sports and non-Golden Globes numbers in the slot in a year.
On CBS, The Good Wife (9.2 million, 1.4) and The Mentalist (9.9 million, 1.5) both suffered double-digit percentage drops.

Meanwhile, PBS enjoyed a big night. The fourth season of Downton Abbey premiered to 10.2 million viewers — a 22 percent increase from Season 3's average and the highest-rated drama premiere in PBS history.
