Ratings: Intelligence Opens Strong; Killer Women Flops

Intelligence got off to a solid start Tuesday.

The CBS drama drew 16.6 million viewers and a 2.4 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, making it the most-watched series premiere this season. Intelligence, which followed NCIS (20.6 million, 2.9), moves to its Mondays-at-10 timeslot next week. CBS closed the night with Person of Interest (12.1million, 2.0), which was flat with its last new episode.

Winter TV: Must-see new shows

Another new series didn't fare anywhere near as well. ABC's Killer Women grabbed 3.9 million and a 0.9, down 31 percent from Lucky 7's premiere in the slot in September. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (6.5 million, 2.1) and Trophy Wife (3.9 million, 1.2) were flat, while The Goldbergs (5.4 million, 1.7) grew a tenth. On NBC, The Biggest Loser (5.4 million, 1.7) and Chicago Fire (6.8 million, 1.9), without a Voice lead-in, each dropped three tenths.On Fox, Dads (3.3 million, 1.4) and The Mindy Project (2.6 million, 1.3) each improved a tenth, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine (3.7 million, 1.6) and New Girl (3.2 million, 1.6) slipped one tenth and three tenths, respectively. 8 p.m.
