How I Met Your Mother's fourth and perhaps final Robin SparklesDaggers sparked a big ratings bump.
The CBS sitcom, which was just renewed for a ninth season last week, hit a season high Monday with 10.3 million viewers and a 4.0 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up 8 percent from last week. It was the night's top-rated show and CBS' only show to perk up.

The Season 7 premiere of Rules of Engagement followed with 9.33 million and a 3.1, down from its Season 6 opener, which was on a Thursday.
Facing a fresh CBS lineup, both Bones (9 million, 2.3) and The Following (8.9 million, 2.9) fell 12 percent.
ABC and NBC also had down nights, save for NBC's Deception (3.1 million, 1.2), which was flat.
On The CW, The Carrie Diaries (1.5 million, 0.7) hit a series high.

Things weren't so rosy for another new series, TNT's new medical drama Monday Mornings, which premiered to 1.34 million viewers and a 0.3 in the demo. The series followed Dallas, which also fell to a series low of 2.2 million.
