The cheerleading drama drew a solid-if-not-stellar 3 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, according to overnight Nielsen estimates. Predictably, the show's rating improved to 1.4 among the CW's target demo of adults 18-to-34.However, the premiere did improve slightly over its America's Next Top Modellead-in, which drew 2.9 million viewers in its lowest-rated premiere ever. Hellcats also doubled the numbers of The Beautiful Life: TBL, the quickly canceled series that debuted in that timeslot last year. Fox won the night in the demo with two hours of MasterChef (5.7 million viewers), which improved 20 percent from the previous week. NBC took second place, as Minute to Win It(6.5 million viewers) held steady and an America's Got Talentresults show drew 11.9 million viewers, improving 8 percent in the demo from a week ago. ABC and CBS aired repeats, with the exception of the Eye's Big Brother 12, which drew 7.7 million viewers and dipped 10 percent in the demo.
