Ratings: Golden Boy Premieres OK, Celebrity Wife Swap Hits Highs

Golden Boy's premiere wasn't exactly golden, but the CBS drama easily topped its hour.

Debuting on Tuesday before moving to its regular Friday slot, Golden Boy drew 10.5 million viewers and a 1.8 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic. That's up three-tenths from Vegas' performance last week, but below the 14.9 million and 2.5 Vegas pulled for its series premiere. Lead-ins NCIS (20.5 million, 3.4) and NCIS: Los Angeles (16.8 million, 2.9) were up and down, respectively.

ABC's Season 2 premiere of Celebrity Wife Swap, in which Kate Gosselin and Kendra Wilkinson traded lives, hit series highs with 7 million viewers and a 2.4. Moving back an hour, The Taste (4.1 million, 1.4) dropped two-tenths, while Body of Proof (6.3 million, 1.2) was flat.Smash (3 million, 0.9) finally stopped its freefall, staying even with last week's numbers — albeit at a series low. The rest of NBC's and FOX's lineups were either on par or up.8 p.m.
