ABC's new comedies did just fine without Agent Coulson.
Following a repeat of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Goldbergs drew 5.4 million viewers and a 1.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic Tuesday, staying flat with last week, while Trophy Wife (4.3 million, 1.4) improved two tenths. Both shows were likely helped by going up against a special X Factor (4.8 million, 1.5), which plummeted 25 percent from its last new episode nearly three weeks ago, instead of Fox's usual Tuesday comedies.

9 bubble shows: Which will survive?

NBC won the night with The Voice (11.4 million, 3.5), but it fell six tenths week-to-week. The Biggest Loser (5.9 million, 1.8) dropped 10 percent. On CBS, NCIS (19 million, 3.0) was even and NCIS: Los Angeles (14.8 million, 2.6) climbed a tenth, but Person of Interest (11.9 million, 1.8) hit a series low against the second hour of The Voice. The CW's The Originals (2 million, 0.9) and Supernatural (2.2 million, 1.1) were on par with last week.
