Ratings: Glee Ends on a High Note

Glee's midseason finale — and final episode until April 2010 — held a high note in the ratings. Wednesday night's showing of the Fox musical series attracted some 8.13 million viewers — just slightly less than last week's season high. Before Glee, Fox's So You Think You Can Dance brought in 6.66 million. Glee's midseason finale — and final episode until April 2010 — held a high note in the ratings.

Wednesday night's showing of the Fox musical series attracted some 8.13 million viewers — just slightly less than last week's season high.

Before Glee, Fox's So You Think You Can Dance brought in 6.66 million.

ABC's Modern Familyreturned with 9.62 million viewers, while other half-hour comedies — The Middle(7.67 million) on ABC, and CBS' Gary Unmarried(7.16 million)and The New Adventures of Old Christine(7.71 million) — all rose above their season averages.

CBS won the night with Criminal Minds' 14.31 million viewers and CSI: NYbringing in 13 million, slightly above their respective season averages. 

Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009on ABC grabbed 10.47 million viewers.
