Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead both scored record numbers Sunday.
Thrones' Season 3 premiere drew a new series high of 4.4 million viewers, up 13 percent from last season's opener and 4 percent from the Season 2 finale, its previous high. Counting encores, the premiere garnered 6.7 million viewers, up 7 percent from last year.

Meanwhile, Walking Dead's Season 3 finale delivered an all-time high of 12.4 million viewers and 8.1 million in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up 36 percent and 31 percent, respectively, from last season's finale.On History, The Bible's two-hour finale averaged 11.7 million viewers and 3.8 million in the demo, up 14 percent and 12 percent, respectively, from last week. The Bible also edged out The Walking Dead head-to-head in the 9 o'clock hour, 12.33 million vs. 12.29 million.With most broadcast networks in repeat mode, CBS easily won the night, thanks to a March Madness overrun that delayed prime time by 41 minutes. The network averaged 10.6 million viewers and a 2.5 rating.
ABC's Revenge(5.4 million, 1.5) dropped 17 percent, while Red Widow(4.1 million, 1.0) tied a series low.On NBC, All-Star Celebrity Apprentice(4.6 million, 1.4) hit a series low as well.
