The Arrow spin-off drew 4.5 million viewers and a 1.8 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, making it The CW's most-watched series premiere since The Vampire Diaries bowed to 4.9 million and a 2.1 in 2009. Supernatural's 10th season premiere followed with 2.8 million and a 1.2, even with last year.

The Flash also handily beat ABC's new comedies Selfie (3.9 million, 1.1) and Manhattan Love Story (3.2 million, 0.9), both of which fell about half a point. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (4.4 million, 1.6) and Forever (5.1 million, 1.3) dipped two tenths and one tenth, respectively.NBC won the night with a Voice recap show (9 million, 2.4) and Chicago Fire (8.4 million, 2.1), which fell two tenths.CBS' NCISes were even, while Person of Interest (9.8 million, 1.6) dropped two tenths.On Fox, New Girl (2.6 million, 1.3) was flat and The Mindy Project (2.2 million, 1.0) was down a tenth.8 p.m.
