The new Extreme Makeover spin-off won Memorial Day, premiering to 7.06 million viewers and a 2.35 rating among adults 18-49.

Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss was the highest-rated show Monday and the second most-watched program behind The Bachelorette. The latest season of the long-running dating show, however, fell 23 percent from its premiere last week after Dancing with the Stars.

Extreme Makeover's premiere was also note-worthy because it grew both in total viewers and in the demo rating between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The two reality shows helped ABC win the night across the board, followed by CBS which programmed a night of repeat comedies.

NBC came in third with a repeat of Minute to Win It at 8/7c (3.8 million, 0.9 rating) and a two-hour Law & Order block. The network premiere of Law & Order: Criminal Intent (which first aired May 1 on USA) drew 5.2 million and a 1.1 rating.

A new episode of the since-canceled Law & Order: LA attracted 6.5 million and a 1.4 rating at 10/9c against Extreme Makeover.

On cable, Khloe & Lamar ended its first season on a high note of 2.5 million and a 1.61 rating. Those numbers were up from the season finale of Kourtney & Kim Take New York(2.1 million, 1.1 rating), but below the latest season ender of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (4.1 million, 2.2 rating).
