ABC claimed a rare Tuesday victory, powered by the season finale of Dancing with the Stars.
The two-hour All-Stars closer drew 16.6 million viewers and a 3.0 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up 33 percent from last week. Though it was a season high for the show, it's down 27 percent from last fall's finale. Lead-in holiday specials How the Grinch Stole Christmas (8.4 million, 2.4) and Shrek the Halls (8.4 million, 2.5), which also preceded Dancing's finale last fall, were down year-to-year.

CBS took the night in viewership, as both NCIS (19.6 million, 3.5) and NCIS: Los Angeles (14.3 million, 2.9) both rose. Vegas (9.4 million, 1.6) dropped two-tenths.NBC and Fox had great nights as well, as all of their respective shows rose from last week's soft pre-Thanksgiving numbers.On The CW, Hart of Dixie (1.3 million, 0.5) was flat, while Emily Owens, M.D. (1 million, 0.3) was down.8 p.m.
