Parks and Recreation Star Rashida Jones Joins Steve Carell's TBS Comedy Pilot

Rashida Jones is reuniting with her formerOfficeco-starSteve Carell.

The Parks and Recreationactress has been tapped to star in Carell's TBS comedy pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Parks and Recreation: An ode to Ann and Chris before their farewell

Tribeca, a satirical take on the procedural, follows Angie Tribeca (Jones), a ten-year veteran of the LAPD's elite RHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit). The comedy explores the eccentric but brilliant group of people who investigate crime and reveal way too much personal information.

Carell will direct, executive-produce and write the pilot with his wife, Nancy Carell.

The casting comes as Jones prepares to leave Parks and Recreation in the show's Jan. 30 episode. Her other credits include Celeste and Jesse Forever, The Social Networkand I Love You, Man.
