This is the second time this year
Randy Quaid and his wife Evi have been detained in Canada, though the reason why is unclear at this time.
A spokesman for the Immigration and Refugee Board told the Associated Press that a detention review hearing has been scheduled for Thursday. Evi confirmed their arrest on Twitter, hours after denouncing the country and the citizenship she received in 2010.
i love that Canada needs to learn how to wake up and criticize its crappy government ps we got arrested by an actual tall midget
I hate the sexist pigs and corrupt gov of Canada and renounce the crap citizenship I was given in 2010 pic.twitter.com/ykWJ0pBfxm
She also posted two YouTube videos blaming President Obama and the State Department for the warrants out for them. The caption on the video notes that they were "illegally arrested" immediately after filming the video.

The couple moved to Canada in 2010 after using fake credit cards to avoid a $10,000 hotel bill in the U.S., claiming that they were victims of unjust persecution.
This is the second time this year that Quaid has been arrested. In April he was arrested over an outstanding warrant stemming from a missed interview with the Immigration and Refugee Board in 2013.
Randy Quaid is the older brother of Dennis Quaid.
