Saturday Night Live is going to kick off 2019 with an Emmy and two-time Golden Globe winner. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan is bringing her comedic talents to the iconic sketch show in their first show after winter hiatus on Saturday, Jan. 19.
Brosnahan has proven that she knows how to deliver a comedic set, at least when its written out beforehand by Amy Sherman-Pallandino and the Maisel writers. Still, if she can deliver those mile-a-minute-monologues then she should have no problem taking on SNL cue cards. This is surprisingly Brosnahan's first time on the lauded 30 Rock stage.
She will be joined by fellow SNL newbies, Greta Van Fleet as the musical guest. The band was recently nominated for four Grammy awards for their debut album, "Anthem of the Peaceful Army". The album also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Rock chart.
Broshnahan and Greta Van Fleet will take the SNL stage at 11:30/10:30c on Saturday, Jan. 19 on NBC.
