Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen Welcome Their First Child

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen welcomed a daughter on Oct. 29, People reports.

The baby, named Briar Rose Christensen, is the first child for the longtime couple, who met on the set of 2011's Jumper. "Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well," Bilson's rep told the magazine.

The craziest celebrity baby names

Bilson's pregnancy was confirmed in May. It's not yet known whether her pregnancy will be written into the upcoming fourth season of her series Hart of Dixie, which premieres on Friday, Jan. 9 at 9/8c on The CW. However, network president Mark Pedowitz said in July that series creator Leila Gerstein "is planning to have a pregnancy eventually happen" to Bilson's character, Zoe.
