A HuffPost Live interview with R. Kelly went completely off the rails Monday after host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani asked about accusations of sexual abuse that have followed the R&B singer for more than a decade.

"When you think about R. Kelly," Modarressy-Tehrani said, "I think people find it very difficult to not think about the multiple lawsuits, the multiple allegations of you having inappropriate relations, sex relations, with minors. What do you say to those people who find it conflicting?"

Kelly, who is promoting an album and recently appeared on the Soul Train Awards, got defensive at her questions and things got tense.

"I know the difference between a negative question and a positive one, so if I think it's negative, I'm going to walk," he said, before asking her about her drinking habits. He repeated that he didn't come for a deposition before finally exiting stage left.

"This is not about music," Kelly said. "This is about disrespect."

Watch the cringe-worthy interview below. What do you think: Was R. Kelly justified in walking off or should he confront those allegations?
