Another one bites the dust...
Quantico has lost yet another major character leading up to its Season 3 premiere.
TVLine reports that Aunjanue Ellis, who plays Quantico director Miranda Shaw, has officially exited the show. It was reported last year that Ellis' role would be reduced, and she would no longer be billed as a series regular, but now it appears she will not be part of the show at all.
Two other series regulars, Yasmine Al Massri and Pearl Thusi, also left the series last year. Massri was an original character from the pilot, while Thusi joined in Season 2 as a new character, Dayana. Priyanka Chopra, Johanna Braddy, Jake McLaughlin and Russell Tovey remain on as the core cast of the show.
Quantico may be setting a record for most behind the scenes shake-ups this year. In addition to the three series regular exits, creative control of the show has passed from former showrunner Josh Safran to Michael Seitzman, creator of Code Black.
Quantico premiere Thursday, April 26 at 10/9c on ABC.
