They're caught in a moral dilemma

This week's Proven Innocent finds the team in a difficult moral position.

In this exclusive sneak peek at Friday's thought-provoking episode, titled "Cross to Bear," Madeline (Rachelle Lefevre) and the rest of the Injustice Defense Group debate over whether or not they should help a white supremacist who claims he was wrongfully convicted of a crime. On one hand, helping a known racist would reflect poorly on them. But on the other, dismissing this case means passing on the opportunity to take down a corrupt detective.

While Violet (Nikki M. James) is skeptical about Madeline's decision to take on the controversial client, Easy (Russell Hornsby) has his own reasons for wanting to help the alleged reformed white supremacist. "Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't touch this case," he says in the video. "It's the wrongfully convicted part that has my attention."

Despite her team's mixed feelings on the subject, Madeline is unable to ignore the wall of victims relying on them to bring the detective to justice and pushes forward with the case anyway. See how it all goes down when Proven Innocent airs Friday, March 15 at 9/8c on Fox.
