Project Runway Returns to Lifetime on July 28

Project Runway will return for its ninth season on Thursday, July 28 with the largest group of competitors in series history, Lifetime announced Thursday.

The premiere will open with 20 designers begging and pleading with Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Tim Gunn to become one of the top 16 who will compete this season.

Project Runway fashions a judge's seat for Kim Kardashian

Among the celebrity guests who will lend a hand to the judges this season include Kim Kardashian, Christina Ricci, Zoe Saldana and Malin Akerman.

As previously announced, Lifetime ordered an All-Staredition of Project Runway, which does not yet have an air date.
