You won't have to wait long for new episodes of Power. Season 5 of the gritty drama will make its way back to Starz on Sunday, July 1 at 9/8c, TV Guide has learned.

Even better, the series has already been renewed for Season 6, meaning the Power well isn't drying up anytime soon. Season 6 will also see the directorial debut of Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson who also stars as Kanan in addition to executive-producing the series.

Created by Courtney Kemp, Power centers on conflicted businessman and reluctant druglord James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) whose life has become all the more chaotic now that his teenage daughter is dead and his wife Tasha (Naturi Naughton) is taking the heat for killing the man responsible despite being innocent of the crime.

James is also teaming up with his bestie-turned-enemy-turned-friend again Tommy (Joseph Sikora) and former mentor-turned-enemy-turned-ally Kanan (Jackson) to take down their protégé Dre (Rotimi Akinosho) for double-crossing them. In case you didn't realize, the life of a drug dealer is a complicated one.

Watch the drama unfold when Season 5 of Power premieres Sunday, July 1 at 9/8c on Starz.
