Poll: Hannigan, Epps Rated Emmy Fashion Hits, but Arquette and Cryer Miss Out

Okay, so they didn't win Emmys: At least Alyson Hannigan and Omar Epps were voted the biggest hits on the Emmys red carpet in a TVGuide.com poll.

Less successful on the red carpet — and also not scoring any Emmy wins — was Patricia Arquette, whose outfit received a higher percentage of "miss" votes than any other in voting by TVGuide.com users. Jon Cryer's outfit was rated the biggest fashion miss among the men on the red carpet, but at least he has a nice new statuette to cheer him up.

How I Met Your Mother star and new mom Hannigan scored a "hit " rating from 98 percent of poll participants with her black, tiered strapless mermaid gown. On Hannigan's heels is Grey's Sandra Oh and her intricately embroidered gold dress, which was rated a hit by 97 percent of voters. Omar Epps of House earned a 95 percent hit rating for his chic black tux.

Medium's Arquette' shoulder-padded asymmetrical look was rated a miss by 92 percent of voters. Ninety-one percent of voters said Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi missed with her purple gown with a growth along the hip. Cryer's Harry Potter sweater vest was rated a miss by 82 percent of voters.

Voters were split on Gossip Girl Blake Lively's eye-popping red dress with a deep plunging neckline (half considered it a hit, half a miss) and the futuristic silhouette worn by Mad Men's January Jones (49 percent hit, 51 percent miss).
