The different acts will compete for a panel of judges, and viewers will eventually get to vote for their favorite dancers during the semifinal and final rounds.
Abdul, who has reportedly fielded numerous offers for new gigs since her departure from American Idollast year, will serve as lead judge, executive producer, creative partner, mentor and coach on the show, according to the Reporter.
CBS has Got to Dance: Network orders dance-competition series
